Fons Sapientiae per Totam Vitam

2 studentsImagine a childhood spent in the Caribbean, in the islands of your family's personal history. To live and learn and play in a country where one self-evidently belongs. A society where perhaps aunts and uncles or grandparents continue to live.
Would that enrich the flow of knowledge throughout your child's life?

Charterhouse High School and College of Continuing Education is a private educational institution, located in Mon Repos, an agricultural village in the district of Micoud, St. Lucia. Since 1994, Charterhouse High School has provided Vocational and Secondary level education to hundreds of teenagers between the ages of thirteen and nineteen.

In addition, the College conducts examinations on behalf of external organisations, allowing St. Lucians to acquire internationally recognised certificates and diplomas to gain access to institutions of higher learning abroad.

Patron of Charterhouse High School is Lady Janice Compton, wife of former Prime Minister the Rt. Hon. Sir John Compton.
Patron's Message:

"Our mind is like a garden: it needs to be cultivated for it to bear fruit. All who would have the privilege to attend Charterhouse would have left having completed their course of study with cultivated and beautiful thoughts, grace and kindness towards those who may come their way".

As of the year 2000, Charterhouse will run a special Summer School Programme to allow children from the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada and elsewhere to spend some time in the Caribbean. Giving them a chance to live, learn, work and relax with St. Lucian children and each other in a stimulating yet safe and Christian environment.
