At a low cost, Charterhouse Summer Camp provides a well-organised, comprehensive, safe and above all fun way to broaden the horizon of young people who normally live and study in Europe, America or Canada.
We offer a trouble-free, Christian environment with a zero tolerance to drugs. To achieve this, we have established a Boarding Home Educational Nanny. All our teachers and counsellors are committed and qualified persons, with the intention of creating a Home away from Home for the children.
Included in the price are School Camp Accommodation (with separate sleeping areas for boys and girls, and a house parent and counsellor for each section), breakfast and supper, showers and cooking facilities. Parents should meet the insurance needs of their children while on Summer Camp.
Activities scheduled for this year's Summer Camp are:
- Island Fashion Show
- Horse Riding
- Treasure Hunt
- Hiking
- Survival Skills
- Tours
- English, Maths and Caribbean History
- Craft-making Skills
- Outdoor Camping (in individual tents)
Please note that for every outdoor activity, there will be a supervisor in addition to the Activities Teacher. Each student should bring his or her own tent for the Outdoor Camp. On call during the course of the camps are Dr. Devonish, MD and Nurse Miss Noel, SRN, ASS.Psy.
