Basil has not always been a pub owner. Better known about town as 'The Ninja' (and throughout most of South-East Asia as 'the Black Mountain'), Basil is a Master of Martial Arts, appearing alongside Bruce Lee in 'Return of the Dragon'. He is also a former world-class limbo dancer  (the Caribbean region's man at the 1970 World Expo in Japan), prize fighter and stuntman. Fire and glass were his favourite props - both of which he ate regularly. Between them, Basil and Priscilla (a graduate of the Australian Royal Academy of Dance) speak more languages than the delegates at a regular UN convention.
