BIOGRAPHY
Born In St. Lucia
Commenced musical career in the early 70's
Joined the Group Night Train in the mid 70's and performed on their hit record "Making Tracks"
Joined the most successful St. Lucian group to date - Boo and the Tru Tones in the late 70's and performed on five of their albums winning an award for instrumentation on the final album in the mid 1980's.
Performed with the St. Lucian Contingent at Carifesta, 1979.
Performed at the Antigua Jazz Festival and the Barbados Jazz Festival in 1988 and 1991 respectively.
Performed at the Parc Floral Jazz Festival in Martinique in 1989
Performed at the St. Lucia Jazz Festival in 1993, 1994, 1996, 1997 and 1999.
Taught Jazz Piano and Drums at the St. Lucia School of Music for 2 years and represented the institution on many overseas music education programs.
Winner of the prestigious M&C Fine Arts Award for best instrumentalist in 1997
Arranged and played on numerous recordings for local artists. |
