Born and raised in Vieux Fort, Itoobaa (Sylvester Peter) delivers a unique brand of roots reggae that embodies the profoundness of Marley, the mellowness of Gregory Isaac and the edginess of Steel Pulse. Itoobaa's music carries an appeal for both reggae and non-reggae lovers alike, with threads of ska, blues, lover's rock and funk woven through a musical landscape that spans the full range of reggae.

Carl  grew up in Los Angeles and began his professional performing career there shortly after leaving high school. He moved to St. Lucia in 1998 and has since become a household name. A versatile and  accomplished singer, songwriter and guitarist, his musical style ranges from Blues and R&B to Jazz, Rock and Reggae. He has performed with most of the island's top musicians and gave a excellent account of himself at this year's Jazz festival.
