Kids learn to play Pan
24th July until 5th August: 2 week Pan Summer Programme: workshop for kids to learn to play pan. Hosted by Allegro Pan Groove & Isis Pantime. First session: Monday to Friday 9:00 am - 12 noon; 2nd session: 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Registration fee: $50.00, all instruments and sticks provided. Age requirement: 8 years and upwards. FRC Summer Workshop
24th July - 5th August: summer workshop for teenagers (aged 13-19), organised by the Folk Research Centre. Skills training in theatre with Errol Fabien of Trinidad. Venue: Folk Research Centre, Mount Pleasant, Castries. 31st July - 12th August: summer workshop for kids aged 6-12, with Chrstine Samuel of the Christylights Dance Centre and the St. Lucian Dance Theatre Company Company. Grande Riviere Junior Club
25th July until 25th August: Grande Riviere Junior Club Summer 2000 programme. Held at the Vide Bouteille Secondary School, from 9am to 2:30 pm, for ages 2-16. Kindergarden: learning with video aids; Summer School: Reading, writing, maths etc.; Computer programme: internet and email. Also: Arts & Crafts, singing, drama, educational tours. XII Caribbean Jamboree
Wednesday 26th July till Wednesday 3rd August: XII Caribbean Jamboree. Bringing together hundreds of scouts from all around the Caribbean and the wider world. Step Aerobics marathon for Red Cross
Sunday 13th August: Step Aerobics marathon. Fundraising event for the St. Lucia Red Cross. Venue: Vigie Multi Purpose Sports Complex. Showcase 2000 Trade Fair

Annual Gift and Craft Show
5th-8th October: 7th Annual Caribbean Gift and Craft Show. Venue: Sherbourne Conference Centre, Barbados, organized by the Caribbean Export Development Agency. Bringing together some 150 exhibitors from 20 Caribbean countries and over 200 buyers from North America, Latin America, Europe and the Caribbean.
