Throughout February: The Magical Circus. After breaking box-office records in Trinidad, Grenada and Barbados now at the Beach Facilities in Vigie, Castries. With lions and tigers, the flying trapeze, magicians, clowns, acrobats, contortionists, the pendulum, globe of death and the high wire. At Vigie for an extended run.

CTO Fundraiser Ball in Miami
Saturday 19th February, 2000: Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) Fundraiser Ball. Bringing together South Florida Caribbean community, CTO Allied Members, government officials, chapter members and friends at the Hyatt Hotel in downtown Miami. Featuring music from the Caribbean, delicious cuisine and a raffle/silent auction with a variety of items including Caribbean hotel stays and airfare, jewelry and Caribbean artwork.

21st Independence Concert
Friday 18th February, National Cultural Centre, 7:30 pm: Grand 21st Anniversary Independence Concert. Organised by the Independence 2000 Celebrations Committee. Spanning the Musical Spectrum, with folk, gospel, steel band, choral, calypso, reggea, orchestral, jazz and pop performances. Admission $10.00 adults, $5.00 children.

International Francophonie Day
Monday 20th March: International Francophonie Day. Activities in St. Lucia start Thursday 16th March.
