Economist and Promotions Officer at SLASPA

    Applications are invited for the position of Economist and Promotions Officer at the St. Lucia Air and Sea Ports Authority (SLASPA).
    The overall purpose of the job is to support the decision-making process through the provision of sound analysis of economic activities at the SLASPA. The Economist and Promotions Officer will report to the Head - Economics & Promotions Unit and will be a member of Middle Management.
    Qualifications:
    * A degree in Economics, Finance or Business Administration;
    * Experience in the use of computer statistical packages or spreadsheet programmes;

    Knowledge, skills and ability:

    Sandals Resorts International Eastern Caribbean requires a Director Industry Support. Reports to: Managing Director and Chairman. This position requires extreme flexibility, profound knowledge of the travel industry and ability to travel twice monthly or more. Responsibilities:
    * Link with all overseas Sales/Marketing and Reservation offices;
    * Link with Tour Operators and Travel agents;
    * Link with International Public Relations Agencies and Media;
    * Link with Advertising Agencies;
    * Supervision of on-resort Sales Managers in the Eastern Caribbean (Sandals Ambassadors);
    * Representation at Trade Shows/Exhibitions worldwide;
    * Responsible for refurbishing projects at the resorts;
    * Responsible for all special projects as instructed by the Managing Director or the Chairman of the company.
    Must have previous experience in the Hospitality Industry, Written communication skills to be concise, well-organised, complete, clear and understandable in order to formulate complex reports and communicate with team members, SRI offices, Government and other business organisations.

Reservations Supervisor at Windjammer

    Windjammer Landing Beach Resort invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the position of Reservations Supervisor. The successful candidate's responsibility will be the efficient management of the resort's inventory and liaising with tour operators and travel agents, in an effort to maximise the resort's occupancy.
