    * Assisting the Ministry of Education with Intervention and Remedial Programmes in the school system;
    * Co-ordinating the development and upgrading of a National Kindergarten Screening Tool. Investigating students at risk for learning difficulties after being screened in Kindergarten;
    * Assisting students to alleviate any problem, which may affect their school performance;
    * Referring students to appropriate institutions or specialists, e.g. Audiologist, Eye Specialist, Physiotherapist, Special School, School Attendance Officer and Social Worker;
    * Conducting workshops with parents, teachers and Principals for Professional Development Day re-special needs or Minimum Standard Examinations;
    * Assisting teachers in the preparation of an individual education plan (IEP) for students;
    * Serve on a multi-disciplinary team to conduct student assessments;
    * Perform any other duties assigned by the Registrar of Examination on examination matters.

    Salary is at a rate of $40,781.28 plus 5% salary increase (Grade 13, step 1).
