Associate Director at Peace Corps

Senior Programme Officer at National Trust.

Facilities Engineer at ECCB

    BSc Building Services Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or any other closely related field with a minimum of 5 years experience in a facilities maintenance environment. The applicant should also have experience in supervising a technical team in a similar environment.
    The successful applicant will be a part of a Technical Team for the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank and must be able to communicate effectively at all levels. The individual must be able to create an environment conducive to the development of other staff members within the Unit. It is essential that the individual be able to work effectively under pressure and produce desired results.

    * Perform diagnostic testing on all equipment for the Bank including air conditioning, lighting, cabling and electrical services;

Facilities Engineering Technician at ECCB

    Applications are invited from suitably qualified citizens of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank member territories to fill the post of Facilities Engineering Technician, in the Facilities Engineering and Management Unit (FEMU).
    Applicants should have:
    * At least a Diploma or Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a Diploma in Electro-Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification with an emphasis in air-conditioning.
    * A minimum of 5 years post-qualification practical experience;
    * Membership or associate of an institution such as ASHRAE or AMIEE would be an asset;
    * Practical knowledge of the British or American standard code of electrical practice for electrical installation would be a distinct advantage.
    The successful applicant will be part of a Technical Team for the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank and must be able to communicate effectively at all levels. The individual must be adept at technical report writing and have the necessary aptitude to acquire more specific knowledge to suit the Bank's environment. The individual must be an effective team player.
    Duties and responsibilities. The selected candidate would be expected to:
    * Assist in the diagnostic testing of all Bank's equipment including chilled water systems;
    * Perform earthing and continuity tests on the electrical installations;
    * Assist in the testing and balancing of air-condition systems;
    * Assist in checking emergency power supplies (UPS and standby generators) communication system, audio systems, fire systems, general lighting and other equipment;
    * Install cable management system in Systems Furniture;
    * Develop working knowledge of security installations at the Bank to effectively maintain the same;

Economist/Economic Statistician at ECCB

    Duties:
    The Economist will be directly responsible to the Senior Director of Research and Information for the proper performance of his/her duties which would include:
    * Monitor developments in the member countries. This includes responsibility for the collection and analysis of information, including the basic data needed for the preparation of periodical reviews on the functioning of the economy for inclusion in the Bank's monthly and quarterly reviews and annual report;
    * Contribute to the general production of economic statistics by the ECCB;
    * Pursue research in areas of interest to the Bank or as assigned from time to time;
    * Prepare briefing papers and policy proposals for the purpose of advising the Bank's management;
    * Provide technical assistance to the participating governments in the preparation for missions of international organisations like the IMF and IBRD, and in other areas as required;

Establishment of an MIS for Ministry

    The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, as part of its ongoing programme of institutional strengthening, invites applications for the design and establishment of a Management Information System for the Ministry. It is the Ministry's intention to establish a platform that will allow for the networking of its various departments, divisions and regional offices, and permit the management of all relevant sector information. It is expected that the successful applicant will, after detailed discussions with key Ministry officers and sector stakeholders:
    * Design an MIS that will facilitate the management of information on, inter alia, the financial management of capital programmes, agricultural commodity production, domestic and export marketing of agriculutral products, natural resource management, human resource management, and investments in the sector.
    * Recommend hardware and software required for the implementation of the MIS;
    * Recommend appropriate training for the intended users of the system;
    * Oversee the implementation of the MIS.
