Regional Training Manager at US Peace Corps

    United States Peace Corps invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the position of Regional Training Manager.
    As a member of the Peace Corps' senior staff, the Regional Training Manager is responsible for the design, planning, delivery and evaluation of all training activities for the Peace Corps program in the Eastern Caribbean. This individual reports directly to the Programming and Training Officer of the Peace Corps.
    Duties:
    * Identify, develop, facilitate and evaluate Peace Corps training activities which respond to Peace Corps programmatic, cross-cultural, language, and health and safety needs in a manner which is consistent with Peace Corps training guidelines, principles and resources;
    * Support the regional program as a team member through active participation in staff meetings and during community, national and regional activities;

    Castries CarPark Facility has vacancies for:

    The Company. The National Insurance Property Development & Management Company Ltd. (NIPRO) is recently incorporated wholly owned subsidiary of the National Insurance Board, and is charged with the responsibility of assisting the Board with achieving its investment objectives through the provision of specialized real estate development and management services. NIPRO also manages the Castries CarPark Facility.
    The Attendants.
    These are operational positions responsible for facilitating customer usage of the Castries CarPark Facility, and reporting to the Traffic Supervisor. Specifically, the attendants will, among other duties:
    * issue car park cards in accordance with company policies;
    * maintain appropriate customer relations;
    * initially operate a cash register, and eventually upgrade to a point of sale (POS) computerized system;
    * prepare various reports including a shift cash reconciliation; and
    * deposit cash.
    Qualifications:
    * 5 GCE/CXC subjects, inclusive of mathematics and English - business courses would be assets;
    * 1 to 2 years working experience as a cashier, customer relations, or similar capacity;
    * good interpersonal skills;
    * ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals;
    * ability to perform basic mathematical calculations using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals;
    * ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions, furnished in written, oral, or diagram form;
    * ability to write routine reports and correspondence;
    * ability to speak effectively before groups of customers.
    The Security Guards
    These are operational positions responsible for ensuring the orderly maintenance of CarPark environment for staff and customer usage, and report to the Traffic Supervisor. Specifically, the security guards will, among other duties:
    * provide protection to employees from physical harm and secure the property of the organization;
    * monitor the property (inclusive of the Kiosk), investigate cases of damages or pilferage and submit wrritten or oral reports;
    * escort NIPRO staff to bank and ensure the safe lodging of daily revenue in the night deposit box;
    * attend court proceedings on behalf of the organization and provide evidence on cases of litigation;
    * monitor security arrangements at the CarPark Facility and provide advice on changes required for improvement;
    * secure the Kiosk, screen entrants, and maintain order on the queue among persons seeking to use the Facility;
    * open and close the Facility, manage the keys, entrances, and systems; and
    * perform other job-related duties assigned by the Traffic Supervisor.
    Qualifications:
    * At least the completion of Secondary School education - GCE/CXC subjects in English and Mathematics would be assets;
    * should be in good physical condition;
    * specialized training in security operations, law enforcement principles and basic security or policing and law enforcement.
