We regret to announce the deaths of the following persons:
Elda Felix, better known as 'L-D' of Raveneau, Choiseul, who passed away on Thursday August 19th about 5.30 p.m. She was 90 years of age.
Laura Palton, better known as 'Granny', of La Ressource, Vieux Fort, who passed away at St. Jude's Hospital on Tuesday 17th August at the age of 73 years. She was a member of the St. Benedict Mothers and Fathers Help Club of La Ressource, and of the Sacred Heart and Legion of Mary confraternities in Vieux Fort.
Ainsworth Norman Charles of Palmiste, Soufriere. Former employee of Singer in Soufriere, who passed away on Saturday 14th August at Victoria Hospital at the age of 29 years.
Mary Epiphane, better known as 'May Calderon' of J.E.M. Salmon Street, Choiseul, who passed away on Friday 13th August at 11.45 a.m. She was 76 years of age.
Joseph Dolor, better known as 'Michael', of Belle Fond who passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday 1st August at 7.30 a.m. He was 76 years of age.

Ms. Mary John, better known as 'Ma Ben' of Desruisseaux, who passed away at her niece's residence on Thursday 29th July at about 10.15 a.m. She was 77 years of age.
Mr. Joseph Johannie, better known as 'Mr. Borrow' of Dennery, who passed away on Wednesday 28th July at St. Jude's Hospital. He was 69 years of age.
Marian Monrose of 34 Up the Line, Micoud, who passed away on Wednesday 28th July at about 6.30 p.m. She was 94 years of age.
Ms. Mary Barley of Augier, who passed away at St. Jude's Hospital on Saturday 24th July at about 10.00 p.m. She was 53 years of age.
Mrs. Bethilda Edwards, better known as 'Etta' of Cafriere, Choiseul, who passed away on Friday 23rd July at 6.30 a.m. She was 71 years of age.
Ms. Marie Abbott, better known as 'Urita' of Grande Ravine, Dennery, who passed away at the Victoria Hospital on Wednesday 21st July at 5.00 a.m. She was 73 years of age.
Mathurin Joseph, better known as 'Lambert' of Mon Repos, who passed away on Sunday 18th July at 6.00 p.m.
Francis Charlery, better known as 'Seal', who passed away at Victoria Hospital on Saturday 17th July at 12.00 noon. He was 30 years of age.
Elizabeth Jn. Baptiste, better known as 'Ma Dorlen' of Vieux Fort, who passed away at St. Jude's Hospital on Saturday 17th July at 3.00 a.m. She was 80 years of age.
Andrew Herman, better known as 'Ti-Boy', of Banse, Laborie, who passed away at St. Jude's Hospital on Friday 16th July at 6.55 a.m. He was 82 years of age.
Wilson St. Jules passed away at the Senior Citizens Home on Friday 9th July 1999. Left to mourn is Cyril Albert. The funeral service was held at the Church of the Assumption in Soufriere on Saturday 10th July. The late Wilson St. Jules was laid to rest at the Soufriere Cemetery.
Ursula Biscette, better known as Miss Iris, of La Courville, Micoud, passed away at her residence on Friday 9th July 1999 at approximately 2.10 am. She was 55 years of age.
Zelma Louis, better known as Ma Paul or Tito, passed away at St. Jude's Hospital on Wednesday 7th July 1999 at 5.00 am. She was 93 years of age. Left to mourn are her husband, Paul Louis, and five children.
Raynard Duncan, better known as Ti-Nard, of Micoud, passed away at St. Jude's Hospital at 6.05 am on Thursday 1st of July 1999. The funeral service was held at the Micoud Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday 7th July. The late Raynard Duncan was laid to rest at the Micoud cemetery.
Omer Joseph of Saltibus, who passed away at his residence on Thursday 1st July at 5.30 a.m. He was 103 years of age.
